A Bit About Our Past and Present...
Born of a vision to provide quality and affordable flight training, Atlanta Pilot Training was founded on January 10, 2005 by Brigham Pyron. Although APT started operations with some 5 aircraft, with ever increasing demand that number quickly increased. In only a few short years, APT had established its self as a reputable, high quality flight school.
With an opportunity to move on to bigger and better things, in March 2008 Brigham sold the assets of APT to one of his former students, Rohan Bhatia. After receiving the honor and privilege of taking the controls, Rohan got together with one of his friends, Alex Bishop, and together they added APT as a wholly owned subsidy of the Centennial Aviation Club, LLC. Then in August that same year, in an effort to better serve its clients APT moved moved closer to metro Atlanta to the Peachtree-Dekalb Airport. Immediately after the move, the fleet grew to 11 airplanes and Sport, Aerobatic and High Performance training were added.
