Tailwheel

AKA Conventional Gear, the tailwheel certification is both fun and challenging. This is how most older airplanes were built, sitting on their tail rather than on their nose. While there is no formal requirement as far as flight time you can expect to spend about 10 hours to complete this certification.

The hourly cost for our tailwheel Super Decathlon is $133
Instruction varies between $50 and $60 per hour depending on instructor.
